“When you do what you love, people love what you do.” For Cherie Smith, that passion is real estate. As a dedicated Broker Associate with Boyd and Associates, Cherie has always dreamed of helping others achieve the American Dream while living her own.

Born in Fresno and raised in the small farming town of Kerman, Cherie bought her first property at the age of 18 and pursued her real estate career in 2006. Prior to her real estate career, she worked in the ag and industrial industry, specializing in water distribution for over 20 years, giving her a unique understanding of the Central Valley’s economy and community. In 2024, she completed over $35,000,000 in residential, commercial, and agricultural transactions. Known for her professionalism, market knowledge, and exceptional service, Cherie has built a strong base of loyal clients who appreciate her integrity, unmatched work ethic, and proven results. In addition to traditional real estate services, she also provides private money lending, offering flexible solutions to help clients meet their financial and investment goals.

Cherie is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother who values faith, family, and community above all. She and her husband Jon, are seasoned raisin and almond farmers who know the importance of hard work and dedication. As a member of Cornelia Ave. Southern Baptist Church, she has served as a deacon’s wife, youth leader, and Sunday school teacher. She is also actively involved in numerous organizations and charities, including the National and Fresno Associations of REALTORS®, Fresno Farm Bureau, Almond Growers Association, Raisin Bargaining Association, Kings River Water Coalition, Certified Notary Public, Juvenile Hall Outreach, Operation Christmas Child, Compassion International, Lottie Moon Program, New American Singers, Jenness Park, Hume Lake, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Outside of her career, Cherie loves spending time with her husband, Jon, their three children, Jordan, Cierra, and Ashlyn, and their four grandchildren. She begins each day reading God’s word and putting Him first in her life. She also enjoys photography, traveling, and visiting her favorite places, Hawaii and Africa.

Whether it’s buying, selling, investing, or lending, Cherie is committed to guiding her clients every step of the way. She is known for her creative approach and determination, always finding solutions and thinking outside the box to turn her client’s goals into reality.
